From HP:
In an interview with The Huffington Post, Steve Harrigan, who is in Libya for Fox News, called Nic Robertson—who tore into the network and Harrigan himself on Monday—"dull," said that Robertson would have talked to him in person "if he was a man," and said that his idea of news reporting was "bullshit."
But Robertson also took some strikingly personal jabs at Harrigan. "I see him more times at breakfast than I see him out on trips with government officials here," he said. "...We very rarely see the Fox News team."
Harrigan took these comments personally. "This is the first time I've been attacked," he said, on the phone from Tripoli. "[Robertson is] in the same hotel as me. A man could come down and say, 'what’s up?' But instead he's saying I’m lazy, that I’m a liar and that I’m as bad as Gaddafi."
Can't stomach attacks, Steve Harrigan? Well what do you think of this one:
You're not a man. Not even close. You're a worm. That's the ONLY way to describe any reporter who embraces and takes a check from Fox News.
Don't even TRY to compare yourself with real reporters who put their lives on the line and attempt to find truth in the stories they report on. You and your lying, belligerent, ugly disgrace of an entertainment program would rather hire a panel of four arrogant losers munching on chocolates and reading from Rupert Murdock's word-for-word scripts than ACTUALLY doing what "real men" and women have done for decades - telling the fucking news as a it really is.
You yourself are also a coward. That's the best way to describe someone who chooses to create an outright lie because you were too scared to do your job the other day:
Editor's Note: Following publication of the original story (below), Fox News Pentagon correspondent Jennifer Griffin reported that fellow correspondent Steve Harrigan, reporting from Tripoli, chose not join the government-organized tour of the damaged compound, though a security guard hired by Fox News did accompany the group.
There are people who have the courage for this job. People like Anderson Cooper, Lara Logan, and Christiane Amanpour among many others. These people do jobs most will not do and make no excuses about it. Once upon a time there were also REAL news stations and real newsmen and women, like Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Ted Kopple and the like. Of course, since Kronkite retired - and the other two wouldn't fall in line and sell out so your boss and people like him could prop up your useless loser, criminal Presidents - we're stuck with sorry excuses for newsmen like yourself.
So sit back down at the breakfast table, Steve. All you're really good for apparently is stuffing bacon into a useless maw that couldn't spout an original or truthful thought even if you were being cattle prodded. All you Fox people are just the same as your republican counterparts - big men and women when you're standing behind the glass, but out in the open a bunch of crying, lying cowards with the internal strength of a ripped diaper.
Nic Robertson is a real reporter. A guy constantly on the front line, always willing to put himself in danger to get to the truth of the matter. Take a good look at him, because you've never seen his like at your pathetic excuse of a show.
