I live in Wisconsin and today is a pretty big day for us. I just voted and I wanted to tell everyone how excited we are. At about 7:45 I went to the poll and got my number. Just about #45. In my small town people are voting at the rate of one a minute and this tells me everybody is FIRED UP.
There are 3 precincts at my polling location, normally I vote towards the end of the day and normally I am about number 300 or so. If this pace keeps up it would probably rival 2008 in turnout. And I have to believe that is a good thing for the forces of Truth and Justice.
I am very cynical about what is happening in my state, and I have great concern that even with the tremendous energy and effort being expended to stop the assault - it won't be enough. They just do whatever they do and tell us to buzz off. I have hope that today is the day we take back the state.
I am "represented" by both Fitzgerald brothers and this is a very "red" area. But I have a glimmer of hope. Please, check in and tell us how things are in your neck of the woods.
