I hate to use the one word sentence thing, but it seems everyone in the media seems to be forgetting in this budget battle is that the Ryan Budget Proposal doesn't balance, doesn't reduce the national debt, and doesn't lead to a budget surplus like we had in the 1990's.
Why in God's name should we adopt this proposal when IT DOES NOT BALANCE. We can't begin to talk about a "balanced budget" with the GOP proposal actually not balancing.
Let's use Ryan's own numbers. Here is the Ryan budget, neatly summed up in a table from Ryan's Budget Committee website:
Ryan's BUDGET NEVER BALANCES NEVER LEADS TO A SURPLUS..
Ryan's budget INCREASES THE NATIONAL DEBT BY SIX TRILLION..
Know why? Because Ryan's budget CUTS TAXES FOR THE RICH.
Rinse and repeat that Democrats.
