Didn't see a diary up, doubt too many people care, but it's kinda fun to watch as a company tries to restore a network to however many of millions of people.
Starting a few hours ago Sony started restoring it's PSN online network for online gaming. They've been restoring service to sections of the country at a time over the last 3 hours or so. They announced they were restoring service about when the NE came back online. NY, NJ, CT, VT, MA,RI, and NH went up first for limited PSN services including online gaming. Everyone has been able to download a firmware update (which you have to do anyway) since then, but they have been adding areas for PSN access a chunk at a time. California was next, the Maryland, NC, SC, GA and Florida. After that it was VA, WV, PA, OH, IN and MI as of 10:18 PST. PSN has been down since 4/20 due to a supposed hack assault. Sony has tried to blame anonymous for the "hack assault," and according to Sony the better part of a 100 million people may have had information taken including DOB, address, name, password and CC number. If you want to watch them slowly restoring service, have at.
