Tape delays, how do they work? While I never expect anything resembling professional journalism to come out of Fox News, you'd think with the dwindling supply of Republican puppets to run in 2012, they would at least try and protect their newest poster boy Newt Gingrich.
Nope.

Yesterday, Newt Gingrich made his first trip to Iowa. From the looks of it, he did not receive a warm reception. Shortly after his arrival he was confronted by a Republican voter who was quite upset that Gingrich described the GOP budget plan as “right-wing social engineering” and “radical.”
Voter: Speaker Gingrich, what you just did to Paul Ryan is unforgivable.
Gingrich: I didn’t do anything to Paul Ryan!
Voter: Yes, you did. You undercut him and his allies in the house.
Gingrich: No, I –
Voter: You’re an embarrassment to our party.
Gingrich: I’m sorry you feel that way.
Voter: Why don’t you get out before you make a bigger fool of yourself.
I always thought the biggest fool got the Republican nomination. The bigger fools who run the propaganda for the Republicans, Fox News, really needs to keep their ponies from getting punched in the face the second their stagecraft goes live in the wild.
Just goes to show, not even Iowa Republicans are buying the dog and pony show the Republican Party is trying to promote for 2012.
Maybe the Republican Party as a whole should get out, before they make a bigger fool of themselves.
If that is possible, of course.
