This comment shows the true nature of the current class war:

If a "gang member" landed in jail because he or she was objecting to police harrassment that person is could to consider the incarceration unfair and might even have knowledge of the laws being broken. What the above quote says is that organizing to demand one's rights for yourself and others is likely to be labeled "gang behavior" & boom.
What is "conspiracy" but talking with other people?
"The worst of the worst" get solitary. What the ruling class considers "worst" is people who organize to challenge the system.
Maybe the reason so many other people are involved, both in and out of prisons, is because it's a Human Rights Issue, not "gang activity".
