The MSM in the United States is not covering this story with the urgency it deserves. This situation is not unlike so many others we've watched unfold across the globe. It seems the "Have Nots" are in full blown rebellion against the "Haves".
These video images are shocking. I was unable to embed them from the BBC site.
Thanks to jayden:
This video is set to "auto-play"
which can be problematic for some Kossacks, especially those reading from work. You may want to add a note in the diary about it so readers have an opportunity to turn down the volume before it begins playing.

Amateur footage sent to the BBC appears to show a gang of youths charging at police in Woolwich during rioting in south London on Monday night.
The video was shot by Mike Jelves and shows the scene on Thomas Street at around 22:00 BST.
A large number of missiles are hurled towards officers who are forced to retreat back down the road they are attempting to block.
There were scenes of looting and arson in several other areas of the capital on what was a third night of unrest. Violence also flared some other English cities, including Liverpool and Birmingham.

Met Deputy Assistant Commissioner Steven Kavanagh said it was a "shocking and appalling morning for London to wake up to".
"The Met was stretched beyond belief in a way that it has never experienced before," he told BBC Breakfast.
When asked at what stage he would consider bringing in the Army, he responded by saying "all options are being considered".
On Twitter, Scotland Yard said: "In the next 24 hours there will be 13,000 police officers on duty in London."

Not until I saw those video images did I realize just how serious
the situation was. This is no small happening. It's an historical marker. Only God knows what comes next. My heart goes out to Brit and britobserver. Reading their diaries was sobering to say the least.
With all the Wall Street watching and wondering, this and so many, many other stories are getting lost. Sometimes it's all just too overwhelming.

London Burning: Police Now Deploying Armoured Vehicles
by Brit

There were hints of this in the major civil disorder here last year: the student riots at the 300 percent rise in tuition fees instigated by a government containing Liberal Democrats who promised to abolish tuition fees.
There is no excuse for burning families out of their homes. There's no future in destroying the livelihood of local shopkeepers. There's no future in destroying employment and investment like this.
But it's clear that law and order has broken down in London. The police are overstretched. They have acted with restraint. But now they are going to deploy for the first time in my memory, armoured vehicles on the British Mainland (they were used in Northern Ireland before).

In 1980 and 1981 we had riots in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol, and Birmingham. It was due to a mix of austerity measures from the Thatcher government, disaffected angry youths and heavy-handed tactics of racist police who's use of the S.U.S Laws to deliberately target young black males.
We are all Brits now.
