To any outsiders coming in to read this, let me say off the bat that this is snark. It's a parody in response to an unfortunate "man created yesterday's earthquake by illegal fracking" conspiracy theory diary.
For actual information regarding Hurricane Irene, check out millwx's just-published diary.
You see it on the satellites. Swirling cloud masses, windy rain, a few waterspouts. It's all there. The proof you need.........
The interwebs provides us some interesting data on the area in which Irene is currently intensifying. The original track was to hit the Gulf and Alabama, which correlates to west-northwest. The track has since been revised from then -- first to Florida, then to Georgia, then to the Carolinas and now to New England.
I can't remember the last time this happened. Oh jesus. I think they're doing it. I think the government is protecting the Bahamian Hurricane Cartel. Let's look at the facts.
This is the Bahamas.
This is Hurricane Irene.
Proof enough yet? Read on.
This is the initial track.
Then it moves.
Then it moves again. RIGHT WHERE THERE IS SOMETHING INTERESTING ON SATELLITE.
Turks & Caicos Island.
Go go gadget zoom.
Look!
Circles! Not any circles. This is the pit out of which the Bahamian Hurricane Cartel operates.
It's all very clear. Let's review.
The hurricane went over the Bahamian Hurricane Cartel's lair, which was covered up by the government early on to throw off public suspicion, then WHAMMO! They clocked Irene to a Cat 3 and it's lights out from there.
QED. 'Nuff said. I'm terrified. I'm frightened. I want you to question and be scared, too. THIS COULD BE VERY REAL. OH GOD. The preponderance of evidence is in. There appears enough to "make an arrest." It's now time for court. Remember: innocent until proven guilty.

If you didn't figure it out, this diary was a parody of the nonsensical crap that shot to the top of the rec list earlier this morning. All snark aside, I'm flabbergasted at the amount of people falling for the conspiracy theories. It's almost as bad as the HAARP crap that was being rec'd up a few months ago. So much for being "pro-science," huh?
