It's a challenging weather week for so many of us here in the United States. Areas of the Northeast are dealing with flooding and the aftermath of Irene. Here in the deep South, we are dealing with drought and 100 degree weather. I move slowly, my dog moves slowly, my clothes on the line outside dry in less than an hour.
I make iced tea, lemonade and cook outside whenever I get the chance. I water the garden and leave water our for the birds and plan my day around the morning and late afternoon.
These are the dog days of summer.
This is the prayer cabinet, a kind, respectful place for people to come and leave their cares and concerns. If you are in need of pray and kind thoughts, give us the information you feel comfortable with and know attention and concern will be shown.
