There is an old saying that is considered a logical fallacy. It was a political joke made in the soviet block nations in the 60s. It goes "And you are lynching Negroes". This was in response to accusations of human rights violations criticisms made by the United States of America. This fallacy, however, doesn't apply to what the Libyan rebels are currently doing.
Day after day we are learning new truths about the situation in Libya. But I am not here to talk about the exagerated claims of the rebels in which they say Qaddafi murdered 50,000 civilians. In which HRW now says is a fabrication. Nor am I here to expand on the other claims that Qaddaffi had given viagra and condoms to soldiers to rape women. Which rebels held condoms in front of cameras they said they retrieved from burnt out tanks. In which not one condom was even singed by the flames that consumed the tanks. Nor am I here to try to educate people about how the NATO coalition supplied sophisticated arms to these rebel groups in this "peace keeping mission".

The rebels, spurned on by disputed accusations that Qaddaffi hired African mercenaries, are now on a quest to commit ethnic cleansing against black migrant workers and citizens of Libya. In rebel held Libya, the criteria for life and death can be the difference of the pigment of your skin.
A report from Amnesty International states
Detention officials in Az-Zawiya said that about a third of all those detained are "foreign mercenaries" including nationals from Chad, Niger and Sudan.
When Amnesty International delegates spoke to several of the detainees however, they said that they were migrant workers. They said that they had been taken at gunpoint from their homes, work-places and the street on account of their skin colour.
None wore military uniforms. Several told Amnesty International that they feared for their lives as they had been threatened by their captors and several guards and told them that they would be "eliminated or else sentenced to death".
CNN shows the supposed "mercenaries" in which the Africans beg the journalists to not leave them or they would be killed. Afterwards, Amnesty International representatives also discuss this issue in an interview.
It just gets worse from there. Blackstarnews tells of acts that can be construed as genocide.
The "rebels" refer to themselves as "the brigade for purging slaves, black skin." The Journal quotes a rebel commander Ibrahim al-Halbous saying, of Black Libyans, "They should pack up," and that "Tawergha no longer exists, only Mistrata."
African women are also under attack. Mcclachydc.com details how the rebels target African women in refugee camps for rape.
JANZOUR, Libya — When the sun sets on the refugee camp for black Africans that has sprung up at the marina in this town six miles west of Tripoli, the women here brace for the worst.
The rebels who ring the camp suddenly open fire. Then they race into the camp, shouting "gabbour, gabbour" — Arabic for whore — and haul away young women, residents say.
"You should be here in the evening, when they come in firing their guns and taking people," one woman from Nigeria said Wednesday as she recounted the nightly raids on the camp. "They don't use condoms, they use whatever they can find," she said, pointing to a discarded plastic bag in a pile of trash.
As she spoke, other women standing nearby nodded in agreement.
Even then there is the case of Tawergha. A town that contained non-Arab black Libyans. Before the rebellion it contained at least 10,000 civilians. Now it is a ghost town.
Abandoned blankets and mattresses littered the area, and laundry still hung drying. Aside from some extinguished cooking fires and piles of trash, there was little else to suggest human habitation.
...
"They took the women, old men and children out in trucks," he said.
On the only sign remaining "Tawergha" had been painted over with the words "New Misrata."
On one wall in Tawergha, graffiti referred to the town's residents as "abeed," a slur for blacks.
So what is happening to these people? Many videos have popped up on youtube showing the brutality of the ethnic cleansing. This is one of them. Making the old Soviet saying a disgusting reality.
I do not support Gaddafi, but I can never support this.
11:11 PM PT: I didn't think I would need to do this but apparently I do. I do not and have never supported Gaddafi. That doesn't mean I should support the people replacing him when they are committing ethnic cleansing. Gaddafi was a terrorist supporter and waged many wars of aggression. But that still does not excuse the lynchings and rapes done by the forces under control of the NTC. There is no excuse for lynching blacks and raping black women just because they are black. NO EXCUSE. These are atrocities that should be condemned and not excused!
