NATO says it fired on Serb protesters in Kosovo.
Interesting. Here is more from the BBC:
A Nato spokesman said four soldiers were hurt by pipe bombs thrown at their positions, and that troops replied with tear gas and rubber bullets. However, a hospital boss said six ethnic Serb civilians admitted with wounds had been shot with live rounds.
So, live rounds on protesters? I thought that we went to Libya to protect protesters there from the live rounds of Gadhafi's troops.
And here is what the minister of Serbia said (from the BBC link above):
Goran Bogdanovic, Serbia's Minister for Kosovo, blamed K-For for the violence, saying: "It is absolutely unacceptable to shoot at unarmed people."
So, I am wondering now if we will ask the war crimes tribunal in the Hague to investigate NATO troops for shooting at demonstrators. Any guesses?
