Elizabeth Warren's first fundraising totals are in, and
the numbers are eye-popping:
- Over $3,150,000 raised.
- 96% of donors gave less than $100.
- Over 11,000 donors from Massachusetts.
All of these totals are through Sept. 30. Warren only started raising money on Aug. 18, and didn't even announce her campaign until Sept. 13.
This is a tremendous start, but remember that Scott Brown is sitting on a Wall Street fueled warchest of more than $10,000,000. While from July 1 through Sept. 30, Brown raised less than half of what Warren raised since Aug. 18, count on Wall Street will keep boosting his coffers in order to keep Warren out of the Senate.
It's up to Warren's army of grassroots supporters to keep pushing back in order to make sure she can stay competitive. We can do this. Please, contribute $5 to Elizabeth Warren.
