Joe, much like Sarah Palin, has the amusing habit of stretching the truth, mispresenting himself, and when called out playing the victim...sometimes in ways that boggle the mind.
Join me after the pretty swirl and let's see how Joe has kicked off this campaign and take a trip down the pipes to recall what Joe has dropped into the Nation's septic system.
Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur's spokesman Steve Fought recently said of Mr. Wurzelbacher:
"His name's not Joe. He's not a plumber. And we're not sure what congressional district he lives in. Other than that, he's the perfect candidate."
A pretty short and sweet dismissal. How did Joe respond:
"Wurzelbacher went on to accuse Kaptur of "maligning his record of military service and hard work."
Politico
What? There was no mention of his military service. A continuation of the Palin doctrine of "If you can't simply address the question bring the patriotism of the questioner into doubt".
Joe, you're not a plumber and serving in the military doesn't excuse you from misrepresenting yourself.
Which brings us to the misrepresentations that brought Joe into our lives in the first place.
We all recall back in 2008 when then Candidate Obama was in Ohio strolling through a neighborhood speaking to voters and Joe pushed himself forward to express his grave concerns:
"I’m getting ready to buy a company that makes 250 to 280 thousand dollars a year," Wurzelbacher said. "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?"
"the reason I ask you about the American dream, I mean I’ve worked hard. I’m a plumber. I work 10-12 hours a day and I’m buying this company and I’m going to continue working that way. I’m getting taxed more and more while fulfilling the American dream."
In that same exchange Joe said he had been a plumber for 15 years.
ABC News
The next day ABC news learned that Joe said he wanted to purchase a company for 250-280 thousand and under Obama's plan he would have actually been eligible for a tax cut...but Joe was getting a taste of stardom so why let a small matter like the ENTIRE PREMISE OF YOUR ARGUMENT WAS BASED ON A LIE get in the way.
Media Matters
The fact is that that Joe was in no condition to buy the business, the only mention he had ever made of it was in his original job interview 6 years previously and in 2006 his reported income was $40,000.00.
His entire motivation was to try to come up with a story that would make him look like he would take a tax hit...but he had so little knowledge of what he was talking about he couldn't even do that right.
America Blog
In a Nov.2 2008 broadcast of Your World with Neil Cavuto Joe made the following outrageous statement:
there's too many questions with Barack Obama," Wurzelbacher said on Sunday, "and his loyalty to our country. I question that greatly."
Wurzelbacher also put into question Obama as a "good American," saying that his "ideology is completely different than what democracy stands for."
Raw Story
What does Mr. Plumber now have to say about Sen. McCain and Sarah Palin?
"I don't owe him s-. He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it,"
"John McCain is no public servant,"
...and he no longer backs Sarah Palin because she supported McCain's re-election.
NY Daily News
Now let's grab the plunger and see if we can suck up some of Mr. Plumber's statements and beliefs:
His thoughts on homosexuality:
"I personally still think it's wrong. People don't understand the dictionary—it's called queer. Queer means strange and unusual....I've had some friends that are actually homosexual. And, I mean, they know where I stand, and they know that I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children..."
Christianity Today
Social Security:
"a joke" and "I've never believed in it"
WSJ
Respect for the Office he wishes to hold:
“Being a politician is as good as being a weatherman. You don’t have to be right, you don’t have to do your job well, but you’ll still have a job.”
Inquisitr
His knowledge of foreign affairs:
"listen, you don't want my opinion on foreign policy. I know just enough about foreign policy to probably be dangerous."
haaretz
A Free Press:
"...To be honest with you. I don’t think that journalists should be anywhere allowed war. I mean you guys report where our troops are at. You report what’s happening day today. You make a big deal out of it. I think its asinine..."
Associated Press Report
His self-esteem:
"I don't know if the American public deserve me,"
His ability to negotiate:
"I don't believe there's two sides to every story. It's black and white," Wurzelbacher explained. "There's right and wrong."

God doesn't want him to run...
Right now I just don't feel it laid upon my heart to do it. It seems like God wants me out around the country encouraging other people to step up, get educated,
Fox News/ Hannity
But who's GOD when you're speaking of a job that requires no knowledge, no respect of your constituents and represents only "a job".
My thoughts go out to the people of Ohio's 9th District. Don't be fooled, don't forget, Wurzelbacher is what he is and he isn't going to get any better.
...and just for fun The Onion's Take.
