Media PA that is.
Scranton native, Joe Biden came back to Pennsylvania to celebrate Veterans Day, Where he was the featured speaker after the parade. I didn't have a notebook with me, so I won't be able to quote his remarks.
Jill Biden spoke first about her "Boots on the Ground" program and supporting military families and then introduced the vice president. VP Biden talked about notable Pennsylvania veterans (stretching back to the Revolutionary War) and then talked about the sacrifices veterans and their families make and took part of his speech to plug the Veterans Jobs Act. What did strike me is Joe Biden referred to "being deployed to Hell" , showing his usual candor.
I know this isn't a long diary, but it isn't everyday the Vice President comes to town.
