Decided to do a little snooping. Did some research. As Aldous Huxley said, "ye shall know the truth, and the truth will Make you Mad!"
The Police Departments in this country (Including, but not limited to Oakland PD) have engaged in war crimes against the people of the United States, including, but not limited to:
- willfully causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health
- taking of hostages
- extensive destruction and appropriation of property not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly
- unlawful deportation, transfer, or confinement
Now, all of these can be argued. And should be argued. IN A COURT OF LAW.
(Justification on the flip)
This is what is making me angry. There will be no trial for any of these things. Under the Geneva Conventions, any ONE of these is considered a heinous violation of the act and deserving of international prosecution. BUT, None of them are considered crimes in any way for these incidents, because this "Isn't a War". That's right, if someone is trying to KILL you, you cannot engage in any of these activities, or else you face severe international sanction.
Chemical weapons are OK! Beatings of Civilians is OK! As long as they don't resist, they're not really FIGHTING you, so you can do whatever you want. The irony of this shit is that if this was a domestic revolution there would be more protection against the actions of the police.
I'm NOT kidding. There would me more protection for the protestors if they were wearing uniforms and actively shooting at the police, because then this would be considered a "Civil War" and the conventions would apply.
I don't want to have to actively fight to have protection against those who want to beat my damn head in, thank you very much! What point can we start pointing out that this is a once sided war, prosecuted by ONE para-military army against a civilian population and prosecute it as such. It can't happen here? Bullshit! It's happening now.
We call people in third world countries who do this shit "Warlords". So, Warlords of the 1%, what is your excuse gonna be when you're finally standing trial for your actions? Oh, right, you never will... Unless we win. Which we will. That's the major problem here with your plans. The 1% thinks they will never be held accountable for the actions perpetrated and financed in their names. They expect COLLEGES to be named after them, like Stanford. '
I want their names associated with Eichmann, not Carnegie.
