As my second diary in 3 years I offer this non diary:
Below the fold lurks my friend and former band mate Tweck's take on the classic folk protest song which he "on the nose" titled The Bailout Song. We filmed it after the One Nation Rally last year. I'm the one singing harmony.
It was written just about the time I posted the only diary I ever wrote here and just as my fears from back then seem to have come to fruition so too has this song remained relevant.
Lyrics:
A bunch of Greedy Pigs from wall street
Bankrupted the good old U.S.A.
And now they're gonna take all your tax money away!
For their Bail out
Bail out
Where's my Bail out
I could surely use a bail out too
Bail out, Bail out
Where's my motherfuckin' bail out too
surely they could bail out me and you
The wealthy elite of America horde all their money away,
And now they think that the poor should have to pay
For their Bail out
Bail out
Where's my Bail out
I could surely use a bail out too
Bail out, Bail out
Where's my motherfuckin' bail out too
surely they could bail out me and you
Hmmm Hmmmm (ahhhh)
Hmmmm Hmmmm (ahhhh)
A bunch of Greedy Pigs from wall street
Bankrupted the good old U.S.A.
And now they're gonna take all your tax money away!
For their Bail out
Bail out
Where's my Bail out
I could surely use a bail out too
Bail out, Bail out
Where's my motherfuckin' bail out too
surely they could bail out me and you
The Corporate elite of America don't want to pay any damn taxes
But that don't stop them from taking all our damn money
For their Bail out
Bail out
Where's my Bail out
I could surely use a bail out too
Bail out, Bail out
Where's my motherfuckin' bail out too
surely they could bail out me and you
