Interesting that huge bills that are ripping freedoms are not even being discussed here. SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) would effectively kill aggregation sites like DailyKos as anyone could submit infringing material, get the site immediately blocked (which there is little to no recourse), and then the burden is on the site to get back online.
A similar site Reddit recognized the gravity of SOPA passing and has been trying to get the word out.

Then there is PROTECT IP that is just as draconian in censoring the internet.
And you have NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) that more or less authorize detaining people with no due process. That is just straight up scary.
Have not see anyone even remotely concerned about these here? What gives?
