Last week, I wrote on Daily Kos that I was running for the Wisconsin State Assembly. I shared that with the community because some of you supported my mayoral campaign. While I came in last of the eight candidates, I have a very real chance of winning the State Assembly seat.
But I need your help today.

Since announcing my campaign last Monday, my campaign has set a fundraising goal of $1,000 by Tuesday to build our grassroots campaign over the next few months. We are currently just $655 away from reaching our goal.
Will you contribute $5 or more before my campaign's end-of-month fundraising deadline?
My grassroots supporters like you are the lifeblood of this campaign. Especially in these early months, I’m counting on you to keep our fundraising going strong, even when our race isn’t necessarily top-of-mind across the state.
That's a big reason why these monthly deadlines are so important. They are used by the press and our opponents as a way to measure the strength and the depth our grassroots support.

And that's why I need your help, now. Will you help me build campaign focused on creating jobs, creating opportunity and creating fairness for the middle class in Wisconsin?
Please contribute $5 or more via ActBlue before midnight on Tuesday.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
