I'm not here to worry about whether or not people agree with what I say, or be made to feel insignificant if I'm not necessarily political.
I'm not here to worry about whether or not people think I'm sufficiently erudite or politically correct. I don't need external validation; I'm here to blab about whatever I feel like blabbing about.
I don't care if you respond, and I care even less if you respond with some smart-ass comment. I just write here because I like to write. I'm not here to write essays in the hope of sounding smarter or more informed than you. If you don't like it, go read something else.
That said...
I'm tired of hearing about "The Lorax". I have no interest in seeing it, and I wonder what Dr. Suess would have to say about his work being pimped out with all this marketing. I have no idea what he would think of it, but I like to imagine that it's not something he would have gone for.

"Project X" seems like a movie designed to celebrate stupidity.

"J.Lo Gets Sexy in Boxing Gear for V Magazine" - that is a headline that greets Yahoo! users. Who cares? I personally don't find anything sexy about the photos. They make it sound like she's practically naked, which she's not. Ok, maybe one photo, in which she appears to be wearing nothing but boxing gloves, but it's not sexy at all. I imagine Adam Lambert could have done the same photo to the same effect.

Why do I even write about this stuff? Because it's annoying to be bombarded with it every day. All this crap that we're supposed to be concerned about, when in reality it's nothing more than intentional distractions to keep us from actually using our brains for anything important. And the sad thing is, this is apparently fine with a large number of people.
If I had enough money, I'd buy some land, go off the grid, and quit wasting my precious time.
