Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the know-how to make a pretty website which will get the job done, but we need a website which will educate the public as to what is going on in the "war against women".
Every day it seems another state, or another federally elected representative, or another candidate for an elected house of congress does something or says something to attempt to (or successfully) rollback women's rights.
The worst part of it all, in my mind, is that it happens too often now that we lose focus of what has happened the last X number of months. I really can't recall a lot of stuff that has happened in the last few months in the "war against women" just because every day brings something new (which is a real shame, since it is good material for arguments with people who are unaware). For example, today I am reading about Scott Walker's terrible new bills signed in silent. I can barely recall what Oklahoma and Arizona have done last WEEK!
Yes, I obviously can just do a little Google Searching to obtain the information I would like, but I shouldn't have to do that for EVERYTHING that has happened so far in the War Against Women. If I had both the time and the know-how I would build a nice and pretty website tracking what every STATE, GOVERNOR, SENATOR, REPRESENTATIVE, STATE-HOUSE has done to rollback women's rights.
It is absolutely important to educate the public as to what is going on, and definitely more important to keep heat on those who have attacked women's rights.
