A few weeks ago my wife and I went to see the show "Woody Sez, The Life and Music of Woody Guthrie" at the ArtsGarage in Delray Beach Fl. I had never heard of this show before and bought the tickets only because of my interest in Woody Guthrie. It turned out to be one of the best shows my wife and I have ever seen. For 90 minutes 4 actors, multiple guitars, fiddles and banjos bring Guthrie's story life. All the classic songs are here, with a rousing performance of "This Land is Your Land" to close the show. This great show is now heading for Boston. It opens May 5th at the American Repertory Theater and runs through May 26th. Please, go see "Woody Sez". You won't be dissapointed.
This is my first diary and I'm sorry if it does not meet the formal standard for a diary. It's just that this show made such an impression on me I felt that I needed to spread the word. This show really deserves a wide audience. It's a great way to kick off the spring Occupy Movement. For more info check woodysez.com
