I’m a lifelong advertising junkie. I interned at an ad agency when I was in college. (For the record, this was one of my life’s greatest disappointments. Actual ad agencies are nothing like what’s depicted on “Mad Men.” As far as I could tell, there was no drinking, no smoking, and certainly no Joan Holloway look-alike throwing herself at me. Of course, I was 20 and a lowly intern. These may have been factors. Perhaps the grown-ups were cavorting about and didn’t invite me to their reindeer games. But I digress).
Anyway, I have Adweek’s website bookmarked on my computer, and I just came across the following:

I’m glad to see that the overwhelming response has been a positive one. I’m sad to see, though, that some people are outraged over…Oreos. Seriously, haters, you need to do some deep soul-searching, assuming you actually have a soul.
Who’s that 40-something with the Oreo cookie? Me, next time I go grocery shopping.
