Look, I think everyone is being too hard on Mitt with respect to when he left Bain.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know there is all this documentation that would seem to indicate Mitt was active at Bain after 1999. But Mitt says it ain't so.
I think Mitt deserves some slack.
You know, the same slack everyone else gets.
You know, like the guy who gets pulled over by the cops and has a couple of bags of pot in his car. And he says to the cops "That isn't my pot, I don't know where that came from", and so the cops cut him some slack and let him go.
Or when the fire alarm goes off at the school, and they find that kid with the ink all over his hand and he explains how he was trying to turn off the alarm after he heard it go off, so the principal cuts him some slack and lets him go.
Or when the cyclist in the Tour de France tests positive for a banned substance and he explains how he wasn't doping and that it must have been in dinner he had in that restaurant, so they cut him some slack and let him keep racing.
Or they find several hundred explicit images of children on some guys thumb drive and he says those aren't mine, someone else must have borrowed my thumb drive and put them there, so they cut him slack and let him go.
Or when Joe Arpaio arrests some people of "questionable" complexion and all they have are Arizona Drivers licenses, no passports or greencards, so good ole Joe, being the kind hearted soul that he is, cuts em some slack and lets em go.
Or when Barack Obama can't provide an actual birth video showing him being born in a Hawaii hospital, but he shows them a birth certificate from Hawaii and birth announcements from that time period in the Hawaii newpapers, and so the Republicans all cut him some slack and move on to slightly less inane topics.
Ya see, Mitt just needs you people to cut him a little slack.
