Here is an article about the ongoing draught in America. How it has occurred so quickly and how widespread it is becoming.

Yet the author doesn't even broach the subject of climate change. Not one word about the possibility that climate change may be a culprit behind this draught.
Are people really afraid to use those words? Climate change???
KPFK in Los Angeles had an interview today with a representative of LADWP who stated again and again that Los Angeles and much of Southern California will be hard pressed to maintain their water levels if the climate keeps warming and the Sierras receive rain instead of snow during the winter. If the snow pack doesn't accumulate over the winter months like it has in the past, Southern California will go dry within a few years.
This warning made so much sense to me that I cannot understand how anyone, regardless of political affiliation, would refuse to believe it.
