I've already posted comments re: the problems with the last hour of DKos radio. Getting a response in the diaries appears to be futile -- except from idbecrazyif who has offered support re: the problems and suggestions. Yes, I've heard David Waldman explain to us in the early part of the program to just turn off and then on the link.
I've done that -- I've shut down my browser -- today I rebooted the computer. While the blippy stuff seemed cured, the audio was painful. Fading in and out, Jesse sounding like he was in a shower talking through something tin.
I know I'm a computer luddite on a 3 (or is it 4) year old low end laptop -- but really, I am one of the folks who would actually like to listen to your programs -- even as background.
David and Greg Dworkin come in perfectly -- and I know the two of you are not sitting in a studio in NYC together. Then David, on his own, comes in perfectly -- to the point that I do turn down the volume. Then the transition into audio hell. Lousy reception and sometimes, no amount of cranking the volume to 11 makes the voices hearable.
So -- maybe I should have requested Cranky Users to let me use their forum since I am cranky about this problem.
I'll listen to the end of the week but I will be shutting off the program at 11 a.m. EDT if the last hour continues to suck. The audio problem for Armando and Ministry of Truth deprives the community of different programming, which is a damned shame.
