I couldn't understand a word, but it was/is cool.
A few moments ago I was on the phone with my oldest son. Kinda . . .
The phone rang moments ago and he said "Mom listen to this"
Then I heard someone talking in the background. I couldn't understand what was being said and I got a little impatient . . what the heck was this about?
then I heard boos and I thought, oh he must be listening to some tea partier speaking at his campus
but that thought jogged a memory . . . hadn't he said something about President Obama coming to Denver and wanting to take his Grandma and Grandpa?
So I listened some more ... OMG the voice I can't understand IS President Obama!
A loud cheer rang out
My son came back on the phone and I told him that I couldn't hear a word of what President Obama was saying, but that it was freaking awesome that he is there! Then I asked if his grandparents were with him, he replied that no they didn't feel well enough for this today.
He said that he is about 50 feet from President Obama, and that he will send me the pictures as soon as he can.
And I sit here reflecting on the TOTALLY AWESOME children I have . . . and my oldest son who 2,000 miles away wanted to share this event with his mother!
And I wanted to share my giddiness of the phone call with you!
This is the third child of mine you've met:
My oldest, my daughter, had a diary in Community Spotlight yesterday (her first one)
Crohn's Disease, The Pain, and Living Life.
I also wrote about her here
And my middle son in
Proud Kossak Mom, 2,000 miles away from MA needs your help
About something that happened here in MA during the 2010 campaign while I was visiting my parents and family in Denver.
At this rate, I'm sure, very soon I'll be writing about my fourth (and last child) too.
