Ann, wife of Mitt Romney, in an interview with Brian Williams of NBC today again reiterated that Mitt would not release more than the promised 2 years of IT returns.
Ever since the "stay at home" manufactured flap, the media has been treating her with kid gloves. Have you noticed that Ann almost exclusively talks of her husband and sons but almost never praises or discusses her daughters-in-law? Just like Ann, their primary job function seems to be in the precision roll-out of adorable kids at the Romney-Bain baby factory. Hell, some of the grand kids seem to be outsourced to surrogates too!!
Here is a list of 10 questions that the media will shy away from Ann. Note Laura Bush's fatal driving accident which killed a 17 year old was hardly mentioned by the press but Michelle's dresses, looks & vacations have been commented upon ad nauseum.
1. What was the rationale behind the decision to posthumously convert your dead father, a known atheist into a Mormon? Do you think there are any differences between the teachings of Joseph Smith and the New Testament?
2. What do you think should be the living wage for the nanny, cook, house maid, gardener and chauffeur who take care of your kids and grand kids? Would you have been able to manage bringing up 5 kids without their help?
3. Three of your grand kids have been born through IVF procedure. Do you know that Paul Ryan co-sponsored a bill "Sanctity of human life act' who would almost 100% criminalize that procedure?
4. Being a survivor of MS, do you agree with your husband's decision, as then Governor of MA to issue a line item veto that defunded MS patients to the tune of $162,000? Within months of your MS diagnosis, Mitt agreed to move to Utah to take over the Winter Olympics administration, do you think "Family first", is just a slogan with many politicians?
5. Paul Ryan has authored a bill that would enable a Rapist to go to court to stop the victim from having an abortion? Based on your previous support for Planned Parenthood, do you agree with Paul Ryan?
6. If any of your sons had shown any interest in enlisting for the military, would you or Mitt encouraged or dissuaded them? Why do you think none of them showed any interest in fighting for the country though all of them were able bodied and we had two wars that they could have served in?
7. If Barack Obama or any other candidate were running for President with the slogan "Believe in America" and then refused to show their tax returns, had Swiss and Cayman Island accounts and a $100 million IRA, is unable to prove that the company he was CEO had not outsourced jobs, would you vote for that candidate?
8. Dressage is an expensive hobby that only a few wealthy people are able to afford. Do you think people who own Dressage horses should be allowed tax breaks for the caring of these horses? How is dressage different compared to animals performing tricks in circuses that many complain about?
9. Your have mentioned about your family's 10% contribution to the Church. Have you verified where & how this money is being spent? What is your contribution to charity beyond that contributed to the church?
10. The executor of your Blind Trust invested $10 million in your elder son Tagg's Venture Capital fund to give him a head start. The chances of your blind trust picking your own son's fund from thousands of other funds raises several ethical issues about the management of these funds. Is it true that the ownership of the Blind Trust was transferred to your name one day before Mitt became Governor of MA?
It's so so difficult to keep track of the many issues that dog Mitt Romney but when 45% of the population keeps voting for any person who has the (R) after his/her name, it is quite frustrating.
