Hey F.O.O. & FOKRs, by the time y'all read this, my dain bramaged state could be beyond my typical non - sensesical ravings of a lunatic mind so apologies in advance.
Let's look back on history so we're not doomed to repeat it - especially if it's bad! On this date in 1057, the king in "the Bard's" "Scottish play" was killed in battle by Malcolm, the eldest son of King Duncan, whom the king in "the Bard's" "Scottish play" had slain. There was a real Mac...er..uh...that guy? HUH! Learn somethin' new every day. I thought it was just Mr. Billy being maudlin & depressing again. ;D On this date in 1939, The Wizard of Oz premiered at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Thanks to this movie, Judy Garland pretty much became a drug addict for life. Finally, happy "turning 20 again" to Ben Affleck!
I also loved The Town!
It's time for SPARK! :D Since I've never played Scrabble before in my life, can those of you who have 'splain to me why blank tiles are such a big sparkin' deal - other than the fact this dude cheated? I thought the point of the game was to make words. Well, so much for this plan to boost my calcium intake. ;D I'll just go back to inhaling pizza; nothing can go wrong there! Finally, fellow adolescent juvenile delinquents rejoice! I wonder how many of this town's signs have been stolen? ;D
On with The Rachel Maddow Show!
"Brotherly Shove" - With Rep. Kill Medicare As We Know It as the Mittwit's running mate, Dems might - just MIGHT - make inroads with "the senior set" this year. Senator McCentury won that group rather comfortably in 2008. Older voters are getting nicked by all these new wonderful voter ID laws; PA's was upheld for the moment today. It may or may not still be in place by the time November rolls around. Well, if something's gonna get done about it, someone better $hit or get off the pot! Even though there was no demonstratable evidence of actual voter fraud in PA, the judge who made that admission allowed the law to stand anyway? Huh...OK...Governor must be one of his/her BFFs. A Mittwit fundraiser helped with PA's new voter ID law? Convenient! Hell, at least the one dude in the video was honest about the purpose of the new law; it is to help Mittwit win PA & hopefully (according to that dude) the White House. And, there is that guy! Rachel was reading my mind. ;D The DOJ & the PA Supreme Court are getting in on this action. Kathy Culliton - Gonzalez is part of the group fighting the new law & is taking their case to the state Supreme Court.
[Trying yet another trick to stabilize feed - *&^%$#@!]
"The Return of Fifi" - Hey! It's Tim Russert. :) Mittwit used to be the Governor of a state? Golly! I've not heard much about that in the campaign so far. Have y'all? I mean, hell, being the Governator of a state was a damn damn important think back in 2008. And, who was that Governator again? ;D Mittwit jacked up & created a mess of new state fees to "get rid of a state deficit." How well did that work? Did MA get the "Taxachusetts" nickname while he was in charge? Wow, look at that ad from 1987; I wasn't even outta high school yet! Not to make anyone feel old... ;D MA was #47 in job creation while the Mittwit was in charge. Don't tell me Chuck Todd actually went all hardball with the Mittwit! How can one spend their entire career in the private sector if one has spent the last nearly 8 years running for POTUS? I haz teh confused. ;D Michael Dukakis is on deck?? Wow! Please don't make him drive a tank, Rachel.
"The Interview" - EEK! Gov. Dukakis isn't aging too well. What's he doing these days other than being on Rachel's show tonight? He called Mittwit "pathetic." hee...hee...hee... ;D Mittwit had to retroactively change his residency status before he could run for MA Gov? Wow...why couldn't Utah keep him??
