There are so many things I could say about the above clip (H/T to Raw Story).
The magical deliciousness of Soledad O'Brien sounding out the word pol-i-cy, and an extra question mark over "wonk? When did that happen?"
A CNN anchor asking the blathering hairdo to define Marxism was a predictable fail, but so excellent to see someone in the MSM finally challenging the "socialist Kenyocracy" meme.
Then there's the very idea of an OWS vs. Tea Party debate for the young people at the RNC, where we get to choose our own team. Who shall it be, Jesse La Greca? Lee Camp? Christine O'Donnell wants to debate either of them? Oh, please. Please do it Christine. Pretty please. On CNN.
This small concession -- of having us choose our own spokesperson to their crowd, instead of having Fox appoint a "liberal" spokesperson (say, Geraldo Rivera), would be a major improvement. It's more and more looking like a swan song. They no longer have the stranglehold they've had for so long, and are now forced to actually consider interacting like adults. It's not going to be pretty for them.
Lastly, and most uplifting IMHO, is that this "challenging wingnut bullshit when spewed" tactic seems to be trending. First Chuck Todd, now this. Let's hope it catches on.
