I have an email from the Obama campaign, asking me to donate $5 to the campaign to the the button. I think it's great, and would like to have a badge for my Facebook page. Does anyone know who I can contact in the campaign to make that suggestion?
There are so many things to like about this promotion...
First, of course, the button. Second, the copy on the site:
Made in the USA Button
(SKU OFA9983)
There's really no way to make the conspiracy about President Obama's birth certificate completely go away, so we might as well laugh at it -- and make sure as many people as possible are in on the joke. Get your Obama birth certificate Made in the USA button today.

One of the most effective ways to use social media is the way it allows you to turn supporters into a marketing throng, as so well-demonstrated by the Obama campaign in the 2008 election cycle. I think this graphic would make a very cool FB pic (or badge) and engage some young people.
By the way, the DNC ad, "The Romney Bunch" is pretty funny. The production values are distinctly amateurish, so it looks to me like they are trying to go viral with it. They might succeed. It all reminds me of the explosion of creativity that characterized the 2008 Obama campaign, with so many ardent supporters making their own interpretations of "Hope and Change.
I wish the campaign had chosen "Going Forward" as their slogan, but "Forward" is really good too. I'm going to start thinking about how it might be worked into a little home-made ad at chez moi next month.
Just thinking out loud...
