Okay, I'll go there. Until Barack Obama ran for POTUS, few people knew anything about now First Lady Michelle. So, to familiarize the public with who she is, First Lady Michelle talked about, oh you know, being a working Mom, being a part-time single Mom what with Barack being in DC doing his political thing. She also talked about the things she cares about; back then it was military families. She's added children's health and physical fitness to her list of many causes since. Seems pretty standard, right?
In a now-or-never effort to humanize the Romneys, per Politico, Ann has come out with a revelation; she once had a miscarriage and her son felt really bad about it. Um, okay. So, I just feel like, all I wanted to see are the tax returns, but now, I'm just like weirded out.
Is Ann telling the truth? I would never go so far as to accuse a woman of lying about a health problem, but this little quote from the story doesn't help, "Mitt Romney, sitting alongside his wife, appeared taken aback by the story, leading CBS interviewer Scott Pelley to ask if he’d heard that story before."
Even if Ann did suffer a miscarriage like many women, what does revealing intimate details like that have to do with the major issues facing the American people that her husband Mitt can't seem to address?
