I took a cruise over to Red State, first time in a long time.
I even have a nickname over there and did post one diary but lost interest in trolling.
Found both idiocy and wisdom.
Results below the loopy thingy that nobody calls the same thing.
1. What we had was a presidential candidate who responded like a president and a president who responded like a bystander in chief.
Romney was absolutely correct in every word he spoke. That the liberal media is going berserk over this is even more proof he was correct. Of course for the millions of Americans who actually know what's going on and don't get our news from the liberal sycophant media we find Obama's statement reprehensible.
Until he's gone from the White House I can't find it in my heart to forgive anyone who voted for him. 9 hours ago
2. I disagree.
Romney acted like he was desparate. Seriously - thirty seconds out of a ten minute speech, a couple of lines in an e-mail, to offer solance to the family of those that died. The ambassodor was a Republican who worked for Lugar by the way. Even if you're cynical, which I'm not - I'm a Christian who is praying for those families - it's politics 101.
So what RINO Romney did is wrong on two level; A) It alienates decent citizens and B) It makes four more years of Obummer in the White House more likely.
Reagan, the Bushes, Santorum, Gingrich, even Paul wouldn't have done this. Rubio, Boehner, Cantor and Ryan didn't do this.
EDIT: And I hate the MSM - so what they say barely matters (some independents may listen to their nonsense, unfortunately). The fact remains that Romney is blazing a trail to defeat. We should be up by five or ten points. Thanks a lot RINO and DEMs for voting Romney... aarghhh. 3 hours ago
3. So the media is spinning that Romney shouldn't have said anything or was to early, so to them I say He only said what HUGE amount of our citizens wanted to say but do not have the platform to say it.
BTW I thought our embassys were guarded by the Marines, has that changed? 3 hours
4. Romney looked and acted presidential. I don't see anything wrong with what he said. He was decisive and strong and did not need a woman with him for support, unlike Obama who needed Hilary. She probably told him to add that bit about finding them and giving them justice. 5hours ago
5. Obviously the big story here is Mitt Romney- Not the President- not the decision to kill Gadaffi/Oust Mubrak/Ignore Syria- not the total misread of the "Arab Spring," not the apologetic response, not the death of Americans, not our passive foreign policy or complete and total repudiation of Obama's foreign policy strategy. No, the real questions should be about the particulars of Romney's criticisms. Obama should definatley push back much harder against Romney than the murderous mob in Libya.
The fact is that Obama should be accountable for the effects of his foreign policy decisions. 9 hours ago
6. Seriously Mitt messed up. Big time. This isn't a 'concern troll' - I'm plain angry. The ambassador was one of us, in case you didn't know. He died for our country, for freedom. And Romney can't even take thirty seconds to offer condolences for his familiy?
We - or I should say you or maybe they (I never supported Romney) - made a huge mistake nominating that shapeshifting RINO. He's not a conservative - he's an opportunist, pure and simple. Santorum, Gingrich even Paul would've been better. Too bad Rubio or Christie or Daniels didn't step up to the plate (I know they had their reasons, but still). We would have won - and by a mile. Again I read the rules and divisiveness is a no-no, but if we don't stop nominating this kind of fake-Republican we're going to keep losing.
Romney - even if you agree that Obama is soft on Muslim extremists, like I do - should have shut his mouth until the facts were clear. Then he should have joined in the lamenting of the deaths of those Americans who died serving their country (as Reagan would have done). And THEN he should have savaged (lol) the H-E-double hockey sticks out of Obama. But, no.
Ok, it's too late now, we're stuck with the candidate from Nowheresville, but can we at least make him get some professional campaign advisers around this guy? Or do we all just go down with the ship?
If things keep going like this we could lose the House, let the libtards keep the Senate. We shouldn't, and we won't if we man up - with or without Romney. Again not concern trolling - we will only lose if we go the RINO-Romney route.
And if you don't believe me;
Look at how Cantor, Boehner, McConnell and even Ryan (who is supposed to be Romney's attack dog) have taken a different tack on this whole thing. Those guy's know what they're doing.
Ask yourself who do you trust - our congressional leadership - the four men I just mentioned or RINO Romney?
Let's not jump of the cliff with RINO Romney. 3 hours ago
7. The "cowboy diplomacy" card is already being played against Romney, with MAObama using phrases like "shoot from the hip" etc.
Yawn! EVERYTHING goes back to their criticisms of W. or even Reagan! Do they have nothing original?
Expect the usual media repetition of The Massive Meme ad nauseam.
And so where are the explosions against the duplicitous Libyan and Egyptian governments and their extra-legal minions?
(Crickets, crickets, crickets)
And as far as blaming ex-Khadaffy people (my preferred spelling):
"The Libyan government has been blaming amorphous
pro-Qaddafi elements for everything that goes wrong in their country," said Tom
Malinowski, Washington director of Human Rights Watch. "It's a way of
denying the hard truth that the biggest threat they face to their hopes for
democracy and the rule of law comes from among their own fellow former
revolutionaries."
The Libyan government has failed to respond to a series of
provocations by these groups, Malinowski said.
"The responsibility for this crime falls squarely on the
people who perpetrated it and on the Libyan authorities, who have failed thus
far to rein in armed elements that defy the law in Libya with impunity, whether
by destroying Sufi shrines, attacking aid groups, or now murdering a U.S.
ambassador," he said. "The majority of Libyans are not responsible for
this, but they are responsible for stopping it by confronting these armed
groups once and for all."

Ok that was the cream of the crap over at Red State
only one diary directly on the attack, and one asking about Christians attacking Egyptian and Lybian embasies.
