This probably the 36th diary related to the Mitt Romney fundraiser videos.
Here is a new angle........(snark alert)
Mitt Romney and his ilk who agree with him on the supposed 47% must have turned a page in their thinking. This is like a bad political movie where the crusty conservative changes his thinking and turns into a fun loving liberal.
Mitt Romney must now be ready to fully embrace unions!
No other type of organization in America has done more to raise wages, improve working conditions, improve benefits, and move millions of Americans from dependent class to independent class. Moreover, unions have increased wages and benefits through competition with non union shops. High wages benefit communities.
Romney must now embrace this!
In other words, the unions brought about the middle class and allowed millions of Americans to be in control of their own lives. By increasing rules to strengthen of unions, more potential non leeching voters will flow to Romney. This could even assure a second term. (barf)
With Romney's pronouncements on the 47% freeloaders, he is now ready to sign into law rules protecting unions and collective bargaining.
Conversely, Romney must now ready to use the full force of the government to crack down on companies who don't pay enough or provide benefits to earn a living wage. These are companies where they save money by letting their employees use public medical plans, such as Medicare and Medicaid.
Here is an example of a company that, in the recent past, instead of offering medical insurance to employees, sent them out on to suck on the public trough.
" In 2004, a study released the UC Berkeley Labor Center found that "reliance by Wal-Mart workers on public assistance programs in California comes at a cost to taxpayers of an estimated $86 million annually; this is comprised of $32 million in health related expenses and $54 million in other assistance."

Another potential policy change could be he is ready to dramatically increase money going to schools, teachers, and preschool programs.
This would increase teacher salaries so that they could make enough money annually pay federal income taxes, and give students the support to produce the skills for anyone to become self sustaining, and not a burden on society.
I am also very curious as to how he will keep the millions of newly uninsured off the public dole when he repeals Obamacare? Perhaps a new social/ charity program modeled after 1989 Soviet breadlines. (Stand in line for 8 hours and be prepared to comeback tomorrow for follow-up.)
Further does this mean, he will eliminate corporate welfare, and subsidies?
Has Romney gone liberal right in front of our eyes?
*end of snark zone**
The point of this diary is that Republican policies and the Great Recession have reduced movement between different economic classes. The same fundraisers in that room
support policies on unions, healthcare, and education that will further erode this movement, eliminating the American Dream for many.
I am sure the great unions of this country are ready to get started!
