I got a RoboCall a few minutes ago that I find disturbing. Source was not identified on the call. My phone log shows the source to be ELECT ROMNEY.
Male voice declared that the Muslim Brotherhood attacked our embassies in the Middle East, resulting in the deaths of four Americans, including the Ambassador to Libya.
Voice then declared that President Obama gave $1.5 billion dollars of US taxpayers money to the attackers for the express purpose of financing the attacks.
At the conclusion, and in an effort to convey legitimacy, I was instructed to press 1 if I wanted to add my name to the petition to cut off foreign aid to Egypt. Again, no group name was provided during the call.
My sense is that there isn't any petition being circulated by any group, but that this was the product of a sophisticated, well financed, and malignant group, whose sole aim is to drive up President Obama's negatives.
The gift of the Citizen's United decision, as rendered by the Republican majority on the Supreme Court, just keeps on giving.
I might not have written this diary but I saw the story on HuffingtonPost about Eric Bolling of Fox News declaring that President Obama "answers to the Quran first and the Constitution second." Fox News' Eric Bolling Says Obama Administration 'Answers To The Quran First,' Clarifies Remarks (VIDEO)
It certainly seems coordinated to me. It is also so vile that it makes me wonder what if any spiritual guide Romney follows. Do Mormon teachings justify bearing false witness?
I ask because I believe that is frowned upon in the Ten Commandments that Republicans are always waving, along with the American Flag they so damnably desecrate.
PS. For the record I am a 56 year old white male, residing in the WA-8 Congressional District.
