With 47 days to go, here is the five word question that should be the nail in the coffin of the Romney campaign:
Where are Mitt's medical records?
All of you who blog: ask it. All of you who have friends who blog: ask them to ask it. All of you who write letters to the editor: ask it.
In 1968 Mitt Romney received massive head injuries in a car accident. In 2012, Mitt frequently says the most inexplicable things.
Does he have brain damage? Is he on judgement-impairing medication?
The trip to London produced an explosion of verbal gaffes. Mitt is frequently absent from the campaign trail, and has a very low work rate on days when he is visible.
Does he have problems with this mental faculties when he is jet-lagged, tired, or stressed?
There are not unreasonable questions for voters to ask.
One of Romney's "defenses" for not releasing more of his tax returns is that he is following the model for disclosure that the previous Republican candidate laid out. If we are going to run with that, then he is 120 days late releasing his medical records.
* Where are Mitt's medical records?
* Is he hiding something?
* Is he physically suited to the most demanding job in the world?
