Willard told donors at a fundraiser that although she was his secret weapon, "he wasn’t using his wife Ann too much so that people didn’t get sick of her." Well even though we just can't get enough of Annie Dearest, Willard has put her back in the closet like a malfunctioning unit.
Seems a shame since all she said was this (well this and something about her horse having class in it's hoof and a few other insignificant things):
“Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring. This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.”
It appears that Annie Dearest was in Omaha hosting a fundraiser that was, surprise, surprise, closed to the press. She was scheduled for several interviews but cancelled due to some controversy.
Omaha.com reported:

She had scheduled interviews with The World-Herald and other reporters but canceled after controversy erupted this week over her comments to a public radio station in Iowa about her husband’s Republican critics.
She appeared at the luncheon, $250-per-plate fundraiser at the Embassy Suites and La Vista Conference Center. The event was closed to reporters.
But never fear, Willard gave a statement that was as good as the height of the Michigan trees:
”Ha ha. We’re in the stretch aren’t we? Look at those clouds. It’s beautiful,” he said, pointing to the sky. “Look at those things.”

Willard wants you to look skyward, past the clouds, in order to see that it is written in the stars that it is his turn to be president.
