Well they seem to roll the sidewalks up in Chico after about 9, unless one lives in college town, where the drunk goes on around the clock! We live in the quiet residential area, a few blocks from Trader Joe's, which is where I picked up "Trader Joes Coconut Milk Beverage, in a carton not a can. I used the Vanilla Flavor to9 add a little twist to my version.
1.5 Pound Loaf Coconut Milkb Beverage White Bread
1 1/8th cups Trader Joes Coconut Milk Beverage
3 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon gluten
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoon bread machine yeast
I added the coconut milk, the bread flour, gluten, salt, and yeast, and turned the machine on to do its thing. at 5 minutes I checked the machine and added a couple more tablespoons of Coconut Milk to allow all the flour to incorporate.
A couple hours later the Bread machine beeped it finish beep and out emerged a wonderfully tall and fluffy loaf of bread. The coconut flavor was very subtle and the bread light and airy and prefect for sandwiches
