Paul Krugman for the council of economic advisers? I'd love it. It fits with Obama's "team of rivals" approach. Just like we would have loved Dana Bash to have independent confirmation of Harry Reid's tax allegations, or how the right would love their "unskewed" polls to reflect reality, these are all excellent adventures in wishing it were so.
But this is the reality-based community.
Yes, I know we all got reamed by Kos for troll-rating the 47% video into oblivion. But, a video is one thing. Here we have someone we don't know claiming something by anonymous sources injecting a strange element into the race the night of the debate. Why not float this in December? Why now?
Could it be true? It could be. But just because it could be doesn't mean that I should believe it on this basis. A stopped clock is right twice a day.
What's sad is sitting around making fun of that pasty fuck in Virginia making up polls and then having this show up on the rec list here. Oy.
Update: So, you think I'm making this up? Here's AdamB:

"Charley" last posted a diary claiming that Cong. Jesse Jackson Jr. was on the verge of introducing a voter registration bill, when as we all know Jackson hasn't been seen in public for months while undergoing treatment.
