"My Plan is not to have any tax cuts that increase the deficit."
well........er, if the same or less revenue is coming in and the interest is ticking up, well uh... like the deficit increases.
Also would someone please tell me how taxation decreases employment? I have always observed it to be otherwise because people naturally tend to want to spend rather than pay taxes and employees are one way to do that. In the alternative, where is the magic button that makes lower taxes result in higher employment?
Let's face it, there's a hole in the roof and rather than borrow money to fix it, Romney would rather let the roof cave in entirely and ruin the rest of the house. It doesn't affect him, he's got enough money for 1000 lifetimes.
And what's this business about shopping around for better insurance? All insurance sucks. It's intentionally complicated. We need Medicare for all. Money is fungible; who cares whether it goes to "taxes" for healthcare rather than to some predatory middle man who may renege on your bargain? Same money. Why aren't we embracing the Cooperative model? Buy in bulk? Do we really SHOP for healthcare? I don't know anybody who does. You get your malady and you get the appropriate treatment. It's not like you have a disease itinerary you can map out.
Oh and all you/us people who are under 55 are just screwed.
