Just finished transcribing and publishing the Obama-Biden Truth Team ad, and went back to find a new television ad. The Obama campaign is working fast. Let's help them out by sharing these two new ads.

Mitt Romney at Debate: "I'm not in favor of a 5 trillion tax cut. That's not my plan.

Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC: The non-partisan Tax Policy Center concluded that Mitt Romney's tax plan would cost 4.8 trillion dollars over ten years."

Voice-over: "Why won't Romney level with us about his tax plan which gives the wealthy huge new tax breaks? Because according to experts he'd have to raise taxes on the middle class ...

On Screen: Study: Romney's Tax Plan Hits Middle Class, The Wall Street Journal, 8/1/2012

Voice-over: ... or increase the deficit to pay for it

On Screen: "Tax Policy Center concluded that Romney's tax plan would cost $4.8 trillion" -- NBC News 10/3/12

Voice-over: If we can't trust him here [image of debate stage] how could we ever trust him here? [image of oval office]"

Since the debate, the Obama Team also published a four-minute video from VP Joe Biden. If you missed it, you can watch and/or read transcript here.

Update: As TomP says in the comments: "Share on facebook, twitter, everywhere you can. Romney lied about his tax plan.  Shout it out throughout the land!"

And while you're out there, remember to support Big Bird! Follow the Facebook Page set up last night: Million Muppet March and the new @BigBird twitter account that's getting a lot of attention. You may think it is a silly thing to do, but this kind of social interaction helps expose who the real Mitt Romney is.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:

(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?
