In conjunction with news that respected pollster PPP is
apparently not finding much of a post-debate bounce for Romney in either their national or state polling, as well as the
analysis of our own resident polling expert, I think the data points are beginning to add up.
Of course, all the usual caveats apply. It may take a couple more days for the full effects of the debate to become known. Even Nate Silver says that he expects a couple point bounce for Romney.
But the numbers have started to come in, and you know the Romney people are looking at them too, because Mitt apparently felt the need to apologize for his 47% remarks, on Fox no less. You think he'd do that if he thought he got a big boost from that debate?
