Tonight's Rachel Maddow Show featured a clip of Romney talking about [I mean, politically exploiting] the former Navy Seal who died in the Benghazi attack. He was talking about how the soldier, who was in a different building at the time, went to help when the American facility was attacked. Romney said, "That's the American way. We go where's there's trouble. We go where we're needed."
Right. Just like Mitt did during the Vietnam war. Oh, wait. He didn't. As he has been quoted as saying, "I had no interest in going to Viet Nam." [Or words to that effect.]
So he went to France on a religious deferment.
Or like his sons. They went where they were needed too. According to Mitt, they served their country by working in his political campaign.
Sheesh.
I wish Maddow had pointed out this hypocrisy.
