6:39 PM PT: Oh my, a woman asked a question about women. Imagine that.
6:40 PM PT: And yes, it's about damn time.
6:42 PM PT: Mitt says he's going to create an economy that's so strong that employers will let women leave work early to go home and take care of their kids ... but he's said nothing about pay equity.
6:43 PM PT: So Romney simply took a pass on answering the question. But said he wants an economy strong enough to let women make dinner for the family and hold a full time job. (Well, not exactly those words, but pretty much that's what he said.)
6:45 PM PT: Obama now ripping Romney for dodging the question—and expanding to topics like Planned Parenthood, childcare, Obamacare. "That's not the kind of advocacy that women need," he says. "These are not just women's issues. These are family issues." Ends by saying he wants his daughters to have the same opportunities as anyone's sons would have.
