Binder: a collective term used to describe a group of women, one or more of whom is to be selected by a male to serve him.
Examples of binders:
1. The women whose names were submitted to Willard M. Romney (and his opponent) in the hope that more women would be appointed to the new Massachusetts governor's administration.
2. The wives in a polygamous marriage; a harem.
