Maine tea party Governor Paul LePage included natural gas in his listing of renewable energy sources in this October 15th video.
In a sense, he may be right if you happen to have a spare 15 to 600 million years to sit around waiting around for gas to form from today's carbon which is a pretty long time for a Governor who thinks creationism ought to be taught in Maine schools.
On the other hand, maybe one could just shoot for more efficiency in the present, something the Paul LePage just seems to ignore in his never ending pursuit of Quebec hydro power. But maybe he was taken in by the word "natural" when it came to this particular non-renewable resource in the present century.
This should end any speculation that Governor Paul LePage doesn't take the long view when he's sifting through his tea party leaves.
