I caught an article from The Nation, reporting that the Americans for Prosperity (A Koch front group) is wooing potential motor-voters by offering to cover a large portion of their Gasoline bill, making the effective rate of $1.84/gal, up to 15 gallons for the first 100-150 people. This rate is symbolic - it's the Jan 2009 rate, when Obama took office, specifically meant to highlight how much Obama is ruining the economy by being unfriendly to oil exploration interests, and by being a screw-up of sorts.
But that's not all, phone bank 30 hrs or more for AFP and receive shiny gadgets. Whoopee!
Obvious bullshit aside, I can't help but notice the similarities between the Kochs and your run-of-the-mill drug dealers. Dealers sell the best stuff cheap to get you hooked, then sell mediocre stuff to keep you coming. Here, the Koch's sell free-market Libertarian fantasies (primo stuff!), and then want you on your knees as an active participant in their sadomasochistic Republican reality. When they're done with you, they might stop speculating us all to death. We just gotta grovel like we mean it.
