Jobless rate hits lowest level since September of 2008.
Ohio’s unemployment rate dipped to its lowest rate in four years last month even as companies cut 12,800 jobs, according to state figures released this morning.
The state’s jobless rate fell to 7 percent last month, down from 7.2 percent in August.
The number of unemployed workers fell by 7,000 to 406,000 last month.
