Well, if it isn't good old Clint Eastwood. After the hilarious appearance at the Republican National Convention, you'd think Eastwood would want to stay out of the limelight.
Think again.
"We need someone who can turn it around fast. That man is Mitt Romney. There's not much time left. The future of our country is at stake."
No, Mr. Eastwood, none can turn around the economy fast. It will take time to recover the losses and we're already recovering.
You're right there's not much time left. Not much time left at all. For someone who once believed in Dwight Eisenhower, you're quite the expert when it comes to choosing quality Republican candidates who flip-flop and say one thing and do another like the wind. I wonder if that's the kind of president you believe in, Eastwood. You seem like a smart, firm and reasonable guy.
No, the future of our country is not at stake unless President Obama is not re-elected. Eastwood, the future of your party is at stake and it isn't pretty.
By the way, don't you guys think this new Eastwood ad is being made in response to the Morgan Freeman-narrated ad for President Obama? I don't know about you but I think Eastwood looks much like Chris Christie at the Republican National Convention. He looks scary and seems to narrate the ad with probably the most unconvincing, non-resonating voice in recent memory. Hell, why did Eastwood have to appear at the end of the ad anyway? Morgan Freeman never did.
Now back to the Morgan Freeman pro-Obama ad:
AHHHHHH. Much better!
