DENVER (AP) — More than a fifth of Colorado voters have already cast their ballots, with slightly more Republicans voting than Democrats.
The Secretary of State’s office on Friday released the latest numbers after the first week of early voting. The numbers do not reveal which candidate voters cast their ballots for, only their party registration.
Thirty-nine percent of the 626,097 voters who have cast a ballot are Republican, compared to 36 percent Democrats.

According to a local NBC news affiliate, here is the partisan breakdown as of Wednesday:
39% Republican
37% Democrat
24% Unaffiliated/Other
In 2008 at the same point in early voting, the partisan breakdown was:
40% Democrat
33% Republican
27% Unaffiliated/Other
Anybody here who has knowledge about Colorado? Compared to early voting in OH or NV, these numbers seem to be slightly worse.
Colorado is definitely winnable but we need to step up the GOTV efforts.
