I am completely amazed by the power of ttwick. This technology will become a powerful tool for all sorts of things. The proof is that they get the same numbers as Nate Silver but from data coming from social media. Twitter, Facebook and Google.
And their website is fun to watch with real time updates.
I talked to Ralf Voellmer today. He is the Co-Founder, COO and Algorithm Designer and he confirmed that the numbers change based on real time data gathering from social media.
For example, if someone writes on Twitter; "I like Obama" or "Romney makes me happy" (insane but possible), they count that as a hit for the respective candidate.
I've been watching the numbers for 2 days and its uncanny how Obama seems to have increased his advantage ever so slightly over Romney from 1.9% to slightly over 2%.
Go to the bottom and click on the dashboards to drill down on their amazing application capabilities.
If you look at the maps they provide with the geographical breakdown by state and compare to Nate Silver's map the only difference is that ttwick gives Florida to Obama and Virginia to Romney.

Ralf related to me how ttwick had matched the crazy ups and downs of the polls during the Republican primaries. One day ttwick showed the surge for Herman Cain whom they had no knowledge.
I believe ttwick WILL become a household word soon. Twitter on steroids as they say.
